Carpet Cleaning Methods

February 4th, 2008

There are 3 main carpet cleaning methods. Each has it’s own unquie advantages and disadvantages. We will cover what those 3 carpet cleaning methods are here.

First there is steam cleaning. Most companies out there use this method. They use it because not only does it do a great job getting the carpets cleaned but it also is one of the easiest and quickest. The magor down side to this method is the time it takes to dry. It can take 7 hours for your carpetss to dry using the steam method.

The second type of carpet cleaning would be buffering also known as shampooing. This method uses a buffer with a solution tank and non-residue shampoo. While this method is not used by most carpet cleaners in the market it is becoming more and more pupular becuase the results are great and the dry time is only an hour.

Lastly is the pad cleaning method. Normally this method is used for thoss inbetween cleanings. You still use a buffer but only this type you have a cleaning pad underneath that absorbs the dirt in the carpet. This is only a surface cleaning but is great for those in-between cleanings.

June 6th, 2007

Everyone wants to save money. The same applies when looking to get your
carpets cleaned. Some of the best ways
to go about finding the best deals is simply call a carpet cleaning shop up and
ask if they have any specials. Alternatively
you can browse your local carpet cleaners website. Many times companies will have a coupon link
to show the current specials they are running.

Getting the Best Deal

The Value pack coupon book is also a great place to
look for carpet cleaning coupons. Most people get these books once a
month. In you local yellow pages under
carpet cleaning you will often times see coupons listed there as well. Be sure and read the fine print. Some of these coupons are misleading. It may say 5 rooms for $99 dollars but in the
fine print it may also read rooms can not exceed 200 square feet. Just because
you may get a carpet cleaning coupon from one company does not mean you will be
getting the best deal.

What questions to ask?

  1. Is it
    extra to move furniture?

place a protective guard back on the carpet? Is this extra?
  3. Do you
    have a guarantee?
  4. Does
your cleaning process kill the germs?
  5. Is it
extra to remove tough stains like pet urine, blood?
  6. If you
have a carpet cleaner coupon be sure and ask about the details and what
    that carpet cleaning coupon entails.
  7. Do you
have insurance and for how much?

If you follow this simple advice you are sure to get a good deal on carpet cleaning.
